As the concern for the deadline of the old Naira note continues to go grow, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has maintained that he does not have any good news for those who feel the CBN should sift the deadline.
Emefiele made this disclosure during a press briefing in Abuja today. He was of the opinion that 90 days should be enough for people who have old currency to deposit their money in the banks.
"I don't have good news for those who feel we should shift the deadline; my apologies. The reason is because 90 days should be enough for those who have the old currency to deposit it in the banks," he said.
